Client Setup
These instructions will walk you through setting up a client so you can work at the location
Adding a client
A client represents a company that you provide work for. Janit allows you to create as many clients as you need.
Adding clients
Clients can be created by clicking on the Menu and selecting Clients
. Click the Add Client
button. Follow the prompts to create your first client.
Locations
Locations represent a physical place that your cleaners can go to.
A client can have one or more locations. Locations must have a unique address you can associate to them.
Adding Locations
When viewing a specific client, navigate down to the Locations
section. Click the Add Location
button and follow the prompts. You will have the option to use an address autocomplete or manually enter the address. It is recommended to use the autocomplete as that guarantees we've found the location.
Jobs
Jobs are what an employee will assign work to.
A location can have one or more jobs.
Adding Jobs
When viewing a specific location, navigate down to the Jobs
section. Click the Add Job
button and follow the prompts.
Job Schedules
Each job can have a schedule associated with it.
A schedule allows the following configurations:

A schedule can include 1 or more days of the week.

The time will be based off the time zone of your organization.
Setting a Schedule
When viewing a specific job, navigate down to the Schedule
section and click Edit
. Once saved, you will get a preview of upcoming days. You can view all client jobs in a calendar at the client level.
